"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands." - Isaiah 55:12

Buisness
For my 15th birthday mom and dad sat me down and told me that they were setting me up in a photography business. The business bought a Panasonic Lumix G2. Sense I will be busy with school and managing the business I will not be posting a picture a day anymore, but I will continue to post pictures.

My Birthday Wish - Day 31
Today I turned 15. I did school and baked my own birthday cake from scrach (I wanted to do one of the box kinds). Then I went to cross country practice, which was good, but today was a hard day. We did speedwork. I ran the 1st mile in about 8:30 which is pretty good for me. On the 2nd mile I was pretty slow, but I didn't walk! And my best friend just joined the team! she did really good for her first day! She did her best and even though she was exausted she didn't stop. Which I really admire. Once we were done with the speedwork we did a cool down (or whatever you all it) and it rained. IT RAINED!! Today was one of those sunny days with a bright blue sky and some white fluffy clouds, but it rained anyway! What was really amasing about the rain is that it was for me. I told God that what I wanted for my birthday was rain at XC practice. I wasn't sure if it would happen or not but I still asked and just trusted that God would do whatever was needed to be done and He did it. He gave me rain for my birthday.
Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth."
- Hosea 6:3
Well acutally it isn't mine... it's the buisness's. Mom and dad are setting me up in a buisness!! Dad's the "President" and we have some other people involved, but the main goal of the buisness it to sell pictures!! But more about that tomorrow. It's late and I still have to pack for my aunt's house in Florence!

Goodbye 14, 15 Here I Come!! - Day 30
When I'm 15...
I want 15 to be filled with adventure, friends, and family.
I want to pursue God with all my heart, soul, mind and Strength.
I want to live without greed.
I want to get a real camera and show the world what I see.
I want to dance from the heart.
Because dance is a universal launguage that is spoken to the heart. But you have to be open to it to see the true beauty and art of it.
I want to shine.
I want to be runner, because running isn't a sport. It's a lifestyle.
In running, your biggest competitor is yourself.
In running, you have to do hard things and push through even though it hurts.
In running you set goals. Goals to improve, to grow stronger, to find who you are.
As soon as you complete a goal you make a new one.
In running you are never "Good Enough," because you can always be better.
It's the same with life.
You stride for better hoping for excellence, but that is one goal you can never achieve.
Which just makes me want it even more.
"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:25-27
I plan to live. To really live at 15.
I want to live for God.
There are a thousand other things that I want to do and be when I'm 15, but I can't write them all down.
So tomorrow I start a journey, (and who knows what obstacles and joys await me) but I'm ready.
I'm ready to live my best.

Job 12:7-10 -Day 29
"Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you.
Which of these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?
In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." - Job 12:7-10

This is a Spotted Cumber Beetle (Diabrotica undecimpunctata) at the Old Home place in Treemont. There were TONS of different bugs there! Unfortunately these beetles eat the leaves and are a major pest, which I didn't know until just now...
